We advised adhering to the Product Design Process to develop a top-notch digital product:
1. Conduct user research – As the UX designer’s role, the user research step’s major objective is to acquire data that will support future decisions, ensuring that none are based only on conjecture. We define the key components of the business model and user requirements in this stage.
2. Create user personas – This is a key stage in the ideation process and is where the concept for the product is developed based on the demands of the user and the business model (both identified in the Research phase). Here, collaboration between the product designer, the product owner, and the UX designer is essential. Then, by outlining each user’s behaviour, the ideal user experience is mapped. Various user scenarios are written and verified at this process. Overall, it offers a vision for the user experience that is both consistent and flexible. The user journey also provides a foundation for determining the needs for the product.
3. Plan the information architecture, design flows, and wireframes – The product designer concentrates on building a tangible representation of the concept that has been articulated up to this point in this stage. They’ll put up a style manual (colour palette, fonts, image style, input fields, buttons, and so on). The Graphic User Interface (GUI) Design stage follows, when the end-looking displays are created by applying the Style Guide to the Wireframes. Prior to going on to deployment, this stage presents stakeholders with the final version of the product’s screens for their approval.
4. Create the prototype – In this step, a click-through prototype is created and shared online with other people and devices using a URL and password. The Prototype stage enables screen-to-screen navigation, making it easier to get input from stakeholders, potential consumers, and investors.
